Waimangu Volcanic Valley in Rotorua, New Zealand, was created from the massive volcanic eruption of Mount Tarawera in 1886. Today your combined walk and boat cruise is a wonderful and relaxing journey through the world's youngest geothermal area during which you will view all the exciting features of the Valley. As you relax on your boat cruise, the skipper of your vessel will point out features of interest and tell you something of the history of this iconic Rotorua geothermal atraction.
